I had stopped eating sleeping going to church and I had a psychotic break. My daughter was able to get me to ping my location and they could send an ambulance. I was in Fort Myers Hospital for 5 to 6 days and then in Largo for 13 days,I am in therapy 3 times a week and I don’t drive right now Jesus was with me every step of the way and I know that now and I knew it then, but I was just not in a good place I since have returned to church and I just love coming and I think Josh pastor her for Sharing God‘s word and I’ve been coming to this church since it was pathways so I’m so glad to be back home with the Church family something today happened where something I hadn’t dealt with I was married for 28 years to a very emotionally abusive husband where I wasn’t allowed to go out of the house without him I couldn’t go to the store I couldn’t do anything and he had given me a Bible. I knew that I didn’t wanna just throw the Bible away because you just don’t do that. It’s God‘s word is in there so I brought it to church with me today and I went to one of the impact area and I spoke with a lady about it if I could donated, and I explained the situation briefly and she asked me to sit down for a moment so I did and I waited for her to return and to my eye she brought me a new Bible that has bigger print. My eyes have gotten worse over the years so that was God doing his work and I had such a wonderful experience today I realized since this was more than 20 years ago when I divorced him and I still had blamed myself for my kids, not having a father, but he’s the one that chose never to talk to them again so Jesus, thank you so much. I don’t know what her name was but I would like to personally thank her and then also I would like to thank Bruce because he prayed with me before I left for the day so I have a lot of health that she’s going on. I have osteoporosis I have colitis. I have asthma, I I have arthritis of the spine and now I went for a mammogram and now there’s a mass in my left breast which needs to have a biopsy on June 9 on June 11. I have a cyst on my pancreas so I have to have further testing … I asked for healing and just for God just give me a sign and I feel his presence and I just can’t thank Mission City Church again. I will be there next Sunday and I will go to the lunch afterwards. Honestly, this family is so perfect and I’m so happy to be part of it in Jesus name I pray amen. I had a very serious psychotic break. I ended up driving my car for no apparent reason all the way to Fort Myers. My daughter was able to get in touch with the authorities and they sent an ambulance for me. I spent six days in the hospital in Fort Myers and then another 13 days in Largo due to my mental illness. I have depression and anxiety. I also am going through some very serious financial difficulties because I now cannot no longer work and I’m on Social Security but doesn’t barely cover the rent that I have to pay each month so I’m asking for prayer for my financial situation to get better so that I have a roof over my head I have with both my daughters and they both work but times are so tight. I really have enough money to buy any food, but I know that Jesus will provide as he always has and also I need a prayer for me myself Laura because I had a mammogram and it came back not perfectly so they sent me for further testing and at the Morton plant hospital Breast Center and there now is a mass in my left breast and I have to have a biopsy so please pray that Jesus can heal and he’s the miracle worker. I haven’t been on here in quite some time so a lot has happened a short amount of time mental illness. Is a very serious thing to some people and to other others it’s not a big deal, but I’m not ashamed to say that I have mental illness, I deal with depression and anxiety. Every day….. I go to group therapy three days a week I see a psychologist and I take one day at a time some days are easy and some days are not. I just have to stay focused and to have a healthy mind and a healthy body.
